Hi, can anybody tell me how to format a nokia n95 before doing the updating firmware/debranding ?
Any help please as ive seen somewhere you have to format the phone first before doing a debrand...
Btw i have a nokia n95 8gb on vodafone/unlocked and want to debrand it..

more a "dump all the settings back to a factory setup"
if you hold down the green key the 3 and the * while turning on the power (yes its hard for a reason!) you will "format" the phone.
I recommend doing this before doing a firmware update - AFTER you've backed up your stuff of course! 😊

Hi o if i restore factory ettings will i lose all the programmes that came with it, ie spiderman etc, and when you say back up all the files is it easier just to copy them all to your p-c or use back up from within another programme?
And do you have to do a back up restore after debranding?
I have read somewhere not to restore back up for some reason it puts the vodafone rubbish back on the phone !! Is that true ?
