Who seems to have a heavy grudge against the iphone?
I mean when I went out to buy my N95 I went for that cos I believed it was the best phone on the market(and I still believe it is)
I mean whats so much better about the iphone
It has stylus? Meaning you can draw on the screen
Well............I can draw on my screen if I want too lol!
Sorry this is a bit of a rant I know but its just the fact in every phone shop window its either the N95 or the iphone that has huge posters
IM just staying true to my colours😊
Am I the only person............
Guess you mean "style." The iPhone hasn't got a stylus.
Perhaps you should have a look at this:-
My mistake:tongue:
Still thats interesting reading what you posted 😎 :icon14:

Ha,
You are not alone at all., I cant stand it!!!
I dont like the adverts claiming it can do revolutionary things that phones have been able to do for years.
I dont like gadget magazines and shows comparing it to the best phones around today, they latest symbian devices and smartphones in general are far better. If I wanted a fancy touchscreen I would go for an HTC touch as it is a proper smartphone.
Besides the iPhones focus was initially music but there have been a few reviews that have compared the sound quality and found it to be inferior to other music phones.
We can walk along the street and see the phone salesmen and estate agents with their iPhones and know that we have a true convergance device in our pockets!!!
I Phone is only COOL for it's touch screen and even that is a real Pain In WINTER Time, the next big thing is the music player on Iphone which also got it's ass kicked by nokia n958gb, I've both phone and Believe me, N95*gb is the best.
I thought I would miss touchscreen when I switched from HTC but in truth I only miss the TS in TomTom. Other than that I miss the keyboard far more than the touchscreen.
The IPhone has a nice UI going for it other than that theres nothing to take my interest ( other than getting raped by both apple and 02 )

Author: Irina Turina Source: Francetelecom Translation by: Rytchkova AnjaAs it was expected the iPhone has debuted in France available from Orange operator. Without the contract it costs 749 - 6490 is the price for the phone and 100 for unlocking services. Id remind you that T-Mobile started sales of an unlocked iPhone in Germany a week ago, however the operator offered it for 999.
At the same time Orange subscribers can buy the iPhone traditionally with a 2-year service plan. In this case the phone will go for 399 and monthly fee will vary from 49 to 119 depending on the service plan. The iPhone is available at Orange stores and online. Currently the site has over 63000 orders.
UN BE LIE VA BLE...:con?
That is truely unbelievable, moreso the number of orders. Are people so stupid that they cant see that getting an iPod touch is a much better idea.
I went into an O2 store yesterday and I dont know why but you can only get the iPhone on a minimum of 18 month contract worth at least 35 a month and then to pay for the phone you MUST use VISA, MAESTRO or MASTERCARD. WTF????😮
Well, my faith has been restored in the Great British public after the UK iPhone launch.
After all the media hype and hysteria surrounding the launch at precisely 6.02pm on the 9th November with O2 hiring 1,400 extra staff to meet the demand from customers and initial sales figures of around 70,000 to 100,000 being forecast, it seems the iPhone came in with a whimper rather than a bang.
In some locations the media outnumbered customers!
Far from 100,000 in sales the actual figure is 26,500 for two weeks on sale!

Similar reports are coming in from Germany and France.
Personally I've only know one iPhone user and he's an Apple fanboy who insists on calling it a "smartphone."
The iPhone is not, and does not, meet the definition of a smartphone which is, "a cellular handset using an open, commercial operating system that supports third-party applications."
Of course it doesn't help that the iPhone can be purchased unlocked in France and Germany and that there are rumours that the 3G version could be out by next May.
Ive had my N95 for about 8 months, its a good phone, but it will never feel or look as good as a iPhone, the N95 has been getting better thanks to software updates, I think the iPhone will too.
The iPhone will never be a N95 and the N95 will never be a iPhone...unfortunately, combine the 2 and you would have a formidable piece of equipment on your hands.
Apple designers are geniuses, the materials they use and the way they combine them are leagues above nokia. Just take a look at the G5 towers, take the side off and they just ooze quality design, feel a iBook...nothing touches them in quality. iPods...nuff said!
Now take the N95...plastiky, play in the slider, the silvery paint stuff on the buttons starts to show signs of wear, horrible little rubbery flap thing concealing the memory card, etc..
Dont be hater....luv it for what it is...or could be in the future!
Now take the Nokia Luna or the 8800 or maybe done take them cos just like the iPhone your going to have to pay through the nose for the previlage of quality design/materials and your not going to get a 5mp camera, wifi...infact your going to get sod all really.
So to conclude...The iPhone is a 'smart' phone, the N95 is a smart device, the Nokia Luna is a 'smart' phone, combine them and you have a 'smart'smart device phone!
