Overclocking the 9210

Is there a program out there that can overclock the 9210 and does what "Afterburner" does for the palm OS.

Overclocking is a little more than software based. The CPU in the 9210 is underclocked to a quarter of it's speed for both power saving and because there were issues with the CPU running too fast for the OS to be stable.

You think this can be changed again?

If someone of you boys gets the 9210 to a little more sporty condition due to a lesser underclocked CPU please let me know!!!

With a new firmware, more stable, I think we can finally unleash the true power of 9210.

That`s a quote category 😃

I now have a 9210i, are those underclocked as well? and are there plans to undo that? some app's are to slow...

Is there going to be public realise of new firmware for the 9210?? I keep hearing people talking about it but no one seems clear on the matter :rainbowafro:

IMHO it's unlikely we'll see progression beyond v4.13 for the 9210. Any effort (and there may not be much of that) will go into the 9210i. We may see 1 more release for that but, given that it works pretty well, Nokia may divert that resource into the eagerly awaited 9310 😃 or to other projects   .
