Is it just me, or does it seem that Nokia and UIQ have taken about 10 years to add the same global search feature that Palms have always had?
I tried this app a few weeks ago. The biggest flaw for me is the fact it doesn't search Notes. Hope the developers add this in future versions....
No, it isn't just you. It was the main reason I gave up my first and only Nokia, the 6630; it was beyond me that a device that was suppose to be "smart" didn't have a utility for searching the stored info. I liked the phone but I put it in a drawer after 3 weeks as it was useless to me without that functionality, after having used PDAs for years prior to that.
And yes, Palm always had it.
Yes, not searching Notes is a BIG disappointment ! BTW, Nokia provides a similar application for their S60 phones FREE ! (and it does search Notes)
