Cool!

I've searched through my phone (on v20) but I can't find an option for it. Where can I set a video ringtone? Thanks.

In exactly the same place as you set a not-video ringtone. It lists mp4 files as well as normal audio formats.

Test it by recording a one or two second video with the inbuilt recorder and then try setting a ringtone 😉

When you select the "ringtone" option for a contact or group, the mp4s will appear with your mp3s/wavs.

You go to Profiles > general (or whatever one you want) and personalise. Then you can go to Ringtones. In here, it will list ALL the available MP3, AAC or MP4 (Video) files. Select the one you want and try to ring it!

Thanks everyone.

It turns out that there was something wrong with my upgrade to v20. When I checked to set a ringtone to a contact, it wouldn't list anything at all. I've just now finished reinstalling the v20 firmware and then restored just my contacts, calender entries, and bookmarks and it worked now.

Guess I'll need to reinstall my apps manually again.

just an additional info, you should "remove protection" to be able to see the .mp4 on the ringtone settings, you can find the option at the My Videos folder then option, then remove protection.
