I have been looking for a decent winter / snow theme for my N95, Couldn't really find one I liked. anyway I thought i'd have a pop at making my own.

Let me know what you think

Hoping to alter the default icons when I have more free time

I should have got to grips with the icons by the weekend. so Hopefully I will post an updated version then.

still its not bad for a first attempt 😊

Just installed it, and its the best one on my phone (and thats saying something - Ive got pearl black fire editon, Gold, blue cubic, brushed metal, etc).

This is most likely to be my choice christmas theme.

I love the menu view, how it kind of blurs into the theme.

Snowy icons would cap it off tbh (hint hint).

Hope you dont mind but I also posted it (with your name and link to here) on the N95 users forums.

Id also suggest giving it a name, unless you like the generic 'winter theme'.

The below example doesnt look that good, but its much better onscreen.

Better off showing an example:

Very clean, very nice and has added a nice wintery touch to my phone. Thanks. Might even start playing with the Theme tool myself soon, which I've not touched since d/l.

Couple of requests if you're thinking of adding to it:
1. Could the menu bar at the top of the screen, used to display profile/3G/battery icon be of a different blue? Maybe slightly more opaque? It just seems quite a harsh blue when compared with the nice dark blue of the sky behind.
2. Could the battery and signal strength meter bars be slightly narrower? They just seem a little large for the display.

Noted these are my personal requests but just in case.... 😉

That seems to have registered on quite a few people gay-ometers...

I quite like it. I seriously need a chrimbo theme (using the pizero one for now). I've got a sleigh bells sound for sms alerts, and slades "here it is merry christmas" for a ringtone (all configured in a handy christmas profile).

Snowy icons would finish it off a treat.

My only issue with "winter theme" is that the background obscures some of the folder/icon names. If the text was clearer I'd deffo use it...

D

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I will see what I can do about those snowy icons 😉

I could also make the battery & signal icons a little smaller. and as for the name, thats where im kinda stuck.....any suggestions??🙄

Brilliant, cheers.

Snow something? Something snow? Snow covered? Gah, Im rubbish.

Nope :frown:

Im hoping he remembers to come back to the forum. Ive seen a lot of snow/winter themes, but still nothing that will beat that one.

the worst part 4 me is that you cant see the volume dialouge in media player 😞

and the drop-down menu's in web become hard to read

Sorry guys
Been ill recently, not really had anytime to finish it off. anyone fancy taking over with it?

if you do, drop me a pm and I will send ya the project files for carbide
