Hi guys since I upgraded my N95 to v20 firmware I have a small problem, the sound from the internal speaker has gone really tinny and has a bit on interference to it as well, only happens on the internal speaker , its fine on the 2 side ones,
Was fine before update, any ideas?
The phone is a orange N95 which o changed the product code and upgraded to the latest firmware have also tried installing the firmware again as well but it still does it.
is there anyway of reflashing the phone with the old orange firmware?
It's not possible to 'downgrade' the firmware, no - you can only install a version with the same or newer version number.
As for the problem with the speaker, it sounds more like a hardware problem.. is this the one that people were suggesting could be 'fixed' by putting a pin through the speaker (not that I'd necessarily recommend it)?
What happens if you chaneg the product code back to Orange and try an software update? does it fail or tell you the latest version is 12 and give you the option to reflash

It just says you are using the latest version. The only option is to exit NSU.
Does it not give you the option to download and reflash anyway? Im wondering if this will force it to download orange firmware and reapply.
