I just bought an N95 8GB and have connected it to my car stereo w/the A/V cable so I can view the N95's screen on my Pioneer AVIC D3's screen. Works great but I have to fumble with phone to do anything... and I want to put the N95 in the globe compartment. Can I purchase a bluetooth remote control that will control the N95 while it's in my glove box? I really would like to get this working. I thought about getting a BT keyboard but probably too cumbersom in the car. I heard about someone writing a driver for the WII BT remote... maybe that will work.
Is there any BT remote out there that will allow me to navigate my N95 menus remotely?
Haha cool idea. Um never heard of anything other then the corded remote that comes with it (for music) or a bluetooth keyboard. Maybe you could get a small PC to put in your glove box. There are also programs that let you use your phone from a PC then you plug the computer into a dash mounted touchscreen and control your phone from that. PC's come as small as a pack of smokes these days just google car pcs or micro pc. They even have car compatable power supplys and there 1/3 of the price of the N95. Infact there cheaper then some headunits with LCD screens.

I have a CarPC. Very funky project but once you get into it, be prepared for hours of frustration and much greater expense than you first budget!
Hi,
simple solution for your problem is NokMote.
simply put the handset in the glove box and control it as follows.
Accelerate hard = Play Track or Pause
Brake Hard = Stop
Swerve Left hard = Previous Song
Swerve Right Hard = Next Song
Hope that helps !

HAHAAH interesting... I wonder?! you'd probably have to steady it in the glovebox... else the sliding around might mean you need to break hard to play or pause etc etc.. and if anything else was in the glove box it would knock it off sync... 😉
