I have been trying (without success) for some months to access the Eduroam university network with my N95.
I have been advised to add the following certificate to my settings, which might enable me to connect.
Can anyone advise me how I would add this to my N95?

I am desperate and getting this to work would be a nice Christmas present!

As far as I know, there is still no securew2 client for n95 and you'll need that to get access to the university network.
It's a shame, I know.
im connected to eduroam in my university, i found a guide in portuguese for the Nokia N80 and it worked. Free internet weeeee
This guide was from the old network configuration but its the same for the eduroam, its in portuguese but it has screenshots so it will be easy to understand.
here u go

Anyone succeeded with this link?
It just hangs for me.
Looks like Rapidshare is down at the moment, so will try again later. 😊
Have now configured my N95 as per the instructions in the above post.
Won't be able to test it until tomorrow, but I will report back. 😉

it works for my N95, and my friend´s N80.
note u have to adapt some settings, like the user name and the realm (domain),
and dont forget to install your university certificate, u have to download it from your institution website...
good luck

are you in the netherlands??
Didn't work for me I am afraid!
I got the error "Encryption mismatch" or something similar.
I suspect that the certificate I used was the wrong one and will try with another certificate on Wednesday.
By the way, I am at University of Kent in Canterbury, UK.
I am not aware of anywhere where I can download a certificate exclusively for my university.

ask the universitys network admin for the certificate, this eduroam is now standard procedure for all universities in the EU. The way to access it should be too. I live in lisbon, portugal and this configuration works in any public university in my country, but the certificates are different for each one...

in The Netherlands we need something called ttls, which is not an option on the nokia. (which is really bad !!! )
Here is a fresh new guide, the network admins in my university made for the users access eduroam.
http://www.net.ipl.pt/Symbian-S60-9-1-3rd-E.383.0.html
its in portuguese, can be easily translated with babelfish....
cheers

it turns out ttls IS an option.
I'll give it a try as soon as possible
thanks for the guide.
It mentions TKIP, but this is not available as an option on my N95?

It's an EU-wide standard, but far from all universities subscribe to it, incidentally.
Found this whilst I was searching for info on this.

It looks very promising. I won't be able to test this until Wednesday night (12'th), but someone here may want to try it for themselves.
dog-man😉
Didn't work!
It seems that NO certificate is required for my university. (Kent in Canterbury, UK)
:frown:
Since v21 come out, i have been unable to connect!
I can still connect to eduroam at my Uni since sorting out the connection issue and I am on V.21.

Even when i tried t connect to another departments wifi it wouldnt work..
When you select it on WScan, and click to browse a webpage. It should come up with a login webpage but doesnt!
