annoying beeps, can't figure it out

Could it be low signal?

Or, if it only happens with one person, there phone?

If I have an active data connection and start a call next to the moment when the call is completed I get a beep warning me that the data connection has been temporarily disabled.

nope, it's not specific to one person.

the signal is a real possiblity...i guess it would be like a signal strength notifier...i didn't even think of that. i'm going through the phone and manual but i can't find anything like that, do you know how i might be able to access it?

i bet one of my friends changed something when they ask to see it. i hate when they do that or go into my private documents 🙄 lol

i'm on rogers (in toronto). the phone was bought at the chicago store and has the latest firmware.

thanks but that can't be it for me. and also, it's many beeps during a call. i would have thought it was a minute notification tone, but there's no equal intervals, and sometimes it'll beep a few times in a row within a few seconds.

I only ask as I have similar tones sometimes in call... that could almost sound like call recording beeps?!?! Multitoned sometimes and in ranges of 3 or 4.

hmmm i'm not sure.

it kind of reminds me of the minute tone i used on my old phone (razr) for a little while. they're not very loud....and i can't figure out a time pattern so it can't be a minte reminder.

I bet that you are pressing one of the side buttons while on the call.

Next time, put on speaker phone and put the phone down to see if you hear them

...or use a headset and check if there's anything happening on the screen while you talk

wow, i feel like such an idiot lol

tomo71, you were right. my finger kept touching the camera focus/shutter button. it's a little annoying how easy they made that button push in.
