Avvenu ... to securely access ...
Could someone tells me, what approach is better from the security point of view, the Avvenu or SymSMB?
Network administrator in my office had a 1 min look at Avvenu website and told me just 4 words: "Not secure, forget it."
I told him: "Look, Nokia agreed to buy out Avvenu", got answer: "Its Nokia's problem, not mine." Is he ignorant or what?
He also checked out the Symsmb site and told: "Looks ok".
I am reading the description on the both sites and can't figure out what is the difference and why in one case it is "forget it" and in the second "looks ok".
Both progs are for accessing the shared computer files from the phone.
Where is the difference?
