If this is for real and not some sort of phishing expedition, could you please post a more meaningful link on an actual Nokia web site?
Thanks.

See this morning's AAS News. It's got an RSS feed.
Its brilliant unless you live in the UK and want to listen to a decent radio station!!😮
tried adding http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/realaudio/media/r1live.ram as a custom station, but the app crashes when trying to load it...

That would be a RealPlayer stream. Which plays in RealPlayer. Which you can save in 'streaming links' in Gallery. The new app uses shoutcast streams.
Have a look at the thread that followed the 'news' item for some examples.

Hmm, well compare it to some of the list of uk stations available in the app:
CMR Nashville - Europe's hottest 24/7 country music!
Harborough FM
Pulse Gold
Radio Jackie - The sound of SQ Lodon [sic]
The Pulse Of West Yorkshire
XPress FM Cardiff Univ.
I'd take Radio 1 anyday thanks!

For RealPlayer streams, such as BBC, browse to the BBC web-page and select 'listen live'. It will try to launch the in-browser player and fail, but there's a link to 'play in standalone player'. Select this and it will launch your N95's RealPlayer. When you exit, it asks you if you want to save the stream; if you do then you can later access it in Gallery. YMMV because some mobile providers deliberately block the streams and some routers can't cope with them, either. Oh, and make sure the RealPlayer connection is set up to the access point you're currently at: MAJOR pita that there's no "always ask" option.
There are a lot of shoutcast stations at www.shoutcast.com. You need to right-click the one you're interested in and "save link as" or whatever your browser says. Open the .pls playlist in notepad and you'll see the URL for the stream. Until Nokia sign-up more people for their directory, this is what you need to enter manually into the new Nokia player.
Also try Virtual Radio on www.vradio.org if you don't like Nokia's player. I think they do pretty much the same thing, although Virtual Radio costs money.
Support for Real Audio streams will be added to Internet Radio is due course.

iIt's probably not what he originally meant. Unfortunately, RealPlayer on the N95 isn't able to stream over HTTP, only over RTSP. This means it won't work in a NAT'ed world; for example, over several mobile operators.
I've explained all this in a separate article if interested: http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=344&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 . Note that while the article itself PPC-related, exactly the same stands for the Symbian versions.

Great news! If you have any connections with the devs, please tell them to implement HTTP streaming as well. Currently, RealOne streams can't be listened to with the player with more than half of the mobile operators. This is particularly a pain in the back because Vodafone, which, here, offers an unlimited plan for cheap, is one of them 😞
