I don't use PC suite for copying/moving my Word- or Exel-files between PC and communicator. I use Windows Explorer just as I would use it if I wanted to store the files to a floppy or whatever.
Sorry, thanks for you help, but I understand that you can copy across which is what I do at present - but .....
how can I have an automated process to do it for me?

I have never been a laptop user so I have no real experience on this. I know that Windows has this My briefcase -thingy which I believe to be designed for exchanging files back and forth with other devices when you do a sync. Unfortunately by reading the PC Suite manual I get the impression that syncing Office files is not possible. This is probably as far as you got yourself, so I'm not helping you any... :-?
But let's hope someone more knowledgeable can help you out :roll: 😊
