hi guys, thought id run an idea past you! bought a black cover of ebay recently and with in 2 days all the black had come off the fron cover! so i am gona paint it myself, thinking of blue/green flip paint!!
my question is would any1 else be intrested in a flippaint or custom painted n95 facias/covers???
before any1 starts slagging off the painting, i am a vehicle spray painter by trade so thers no queston of quality!, i ave don this in the past with my old fones for me and for friends!
so what u think gd idea or bad idea? thinking of buying in bulk an selling on ebay!?

When you say flip paint, dya mean that chameleon colour effect you can get for cars which costs a bomb?
If so, sounds like a nice idea. Each one could be completely unique, and you can use two different pairs of colour tones for the silver and plum/sand/charcoal parts of the phone.
Would love to see a finished one 😊
[EDIT] BTW I would buy one, certainly, except my phone is still under warranty so I wouldn't take it apart just yet. I'll wait until it runs out first.

I think you should do it and the black colour is an ideal base for flip paint to go over the top. Just remember to lightly sand the casing before applying primer to ensure the paint sticks.
Be sure to post a pic after would love 2 see how it turns out.:tongue:

I mean would it just be the big bits of casing, or could you actually do the keypad (without going over the actual numbers/letters!).
A demo picture would be very interesting.
Phones are a very personal thing for many, and provided the price is right Id reckon youd have shedloads of customers. Only thing is, can it be profitable on the basis of time spent + reasonable price?
If you can do these at a reasonable cost i'd be well up for that. I'd love one in a similar colour to the Nissan Primera GTSE:

hay thanx fot the feedback!! i actualy have sum pink leftover from a job aswell if u'd like:tongue: lol
anyway yeh i have sume left over the same as the nissan primera pictured!! and also another colour but i cant remember the colour of tht 1! also have 2 cany cloures, candy apple red and candy orange! any colour can be achived , and both in matt or gloss effect!
the keys could be done but it would involve alot of time and effort and might not be cost efective! it involves pvc cut out stickers then sprayed over! have done it a few times on bike helmets but not on such a small scale!
i will spray a old cover i have l8r 2day and hopefully get sum pics up 2moro!!
not sure on cost yet but i'll do sum sums 2nihgt aswell and get a guestimate!!

If you can do it for a reasonably price, you will get A LOT of business I would think
I would worry about painting over the keys though, unless you have got real skill. You can get facia kits for the N95 Classic with black keys; black keys would look good against the flip paint imo.
