If you are talking about the changing-the-date thing, I am not sure if it is illegal, but I doubt that Nokia ment it to be an option 😊 Doesn't work for most users anyway...

ok i'll post it and if admin's think it deservs removing then they can remove it!

wot i did was i recentaly got a contract sim and i still had my old payas u go sim so insted of getting it charged to my new contract i decided 2 use up the credit on my payas u go sim so i only has 2.5 in my pay as u go but i thouht i'd try anyway and orderd the month for 6 ow whatveer it costs. then it said navigation activated but only took the credit off that it could so i was left with 1 and wen i change back 2 my contract sim and went to options upddate! it g transferd from the old sim and didt charge me!! iv done this for the last 4 monthes and it workes everytime! and now that iv only got 1 in my sim it cant even take the first txt off but still gives me the navigation!

think it is a bug nokia have 2 fix! me being pro nokia just thought id make aware of it!!🙄

nokia dont own the maps software it is smart2go that get all subscriptions!! so i havent ripped nokia off!! and for the price i pay'd 4 my n95 back wen it first came out i belive it should have came with free maps for @ least a year!!😎

Alright, you got me there on the case of the cost of the n95....

Such is the price you pay for being "leading edge". Personally, the fact that you're ripping of company 'B' instead of company 'A' doesn't make it any more acceptable. (And I'd imagine that Nokia are in someway financially linked to the maps licencing.)

Depends what you mean by "financially linked". If you mean "owning" you'd be right.

Maps2Go are now a subsidiary of Mokia.

Mokia is a great company but nowhere near the size of Nokia.

I think you'll find that "Mokia" is the colloquial Nokia internal name for "NOKIA gate5 GmbH", the legal owners of Smart2Go.

Or that I have fat finger trouble.

HAHAHAHAH. you've reminded me of the Simpson's episode where Homer becomes obese and tries to make a phone call "The fingers you have used to dial are too fat, to obtain a special dialing wand, mash the keypad with your palm now."
