Active standby search

when i open search on my active standby menu it takes more than a few seconds to open, 5 in some cases. Is this a normal amount of time?

Certainly the same on mine. There was a thread about it last week suggesting various fixes (format memory card, do a reset etc) none of them worked. Yesterday I set up a brand spanking new N95 sim free from expansys. I did the firmware upgrade and before doing anything else tried the search from active standby and it took a seconds to launch and still does. I conclude it is a bug. Quite disappointing really.

Hi - yes mine does the same. The top half freezes for a few seconds then it's fine. Not sure if this is called 'normal' but it's not just you.
