N95 8gb tomtom looses settings

Hello,

Since a week i am the owner of a Nokia N95 8Gb. Everything works fine (even better than the V1, only it seems a bit slower),except TomTom.

I installed TomTom 6 symbian 6.02 on my N95 and installed it. It works fine, but it doesn't remember settings that I make like my recent visited places, home location or favorites. Also the settings are not remembered like 3D view or not.

When I start tomtom and make some changes, close tomtom (with the red button or through the menu of tomtom), and start tomtom again, all changes are back to default.

the only thing is does remember is which bluetooth mouse I use, and that the setup wizard does not run again.

The most strange thing is dat I had the same version installed on my N95v1, and that worked fine. The only difference is that I installed a list of poi's with traffic cameras.

Things I tried:

- Installing it on the phone memory
- Installing it on the mass storage
- Installing it trough the pc software for Nokia.

No of this works...

Please help!

I have the same version of Tom Tom and the Speed Camera Poi's and have them installed to the Mass memory but have none of the problems you are describing at all. Wish i could be of more help but the only thing i can suggest is to remove it all and try installing it once again as i have no idea what is happening to you.

Yes all and every Tom Tom file as the only possible reason i can think of it that something corrupted on the installation. I don't know how viaible it is for you as of course it will require re loading your things back to the mass memory but if possible i would format that just to make sure it is clean and nothing is left somewhere that could be causing you this problem. The fact you can install it and it runs but just won't remember your preferences is weird to say the least good luck.

Marc mate can you tell me were you downloaded this from as i really need it! The map on the N95 8gb is rubbish!
