How to open the P800

The top portion of the back cover around digital camera is also detachable and there are two more screws under it. Open it the way you remove the keypad.

I don't think opening it is such a good idea :roll:

well you know what...that really is not a good idea...even if it means that you get a better fit on the screen protector.....i would rather have a screen full of scratches than a P800 that has gone wrong.....

You know, when you get something new, you really want to "explore" it as much as you can, sometimes even without any constructive purpose!

I still remember when I disected my 8890 two weeks after I got it and it's still working like a charm after two and half years. Meanwhile, all of my friends' are breaking apart! 😃

If You open the phone, please take pictures about it's internals and post it to the net. It would be very cool to see how it has been built and what components are there. Guide to open p800 would be cool too. Do anybody know if there is allready such pictures and guides on the web?

Ok Ok Folks,
you won and I am convinced. Won't open my P800 till spareparts will be available. Have meanwhile ordered Screen-Protector-Foil from Brando.
Should be with me next week. I think using this foil is a better idea 😉
