Hi to all,
I like to buy Nokia N95 from my friend (second hand). So, I need to know how to check the phone has been repaired sometimes? I know one code that shows last repair date on older Nokia phones, *#92702689#, but on this model that code only shows Lifetimer.
Anybody can help me, please.
Best regards,
Nikola Todorovski
nope... theres only the lifetimer in new nokias.
Just tried that, it says '14:26'. I've had the phone since June 2007 so what does the figure refer to?
what is lifetimer? what does it mean?

I think it counts the total number of airtime minutes the phone has used.

yes, its the total talktime since last flash/firmware update. i.e. if you clear the call logs in the phone, you still have a true talk time of the firmware as that doesnt reset.
Actually the lifetimer will not reset if you update your firmware and I don't know if you can reset it somehow.
So, you are all telling me that it's impossible to check if your Nokia has been ever repaired!?
Thanks,

No... your right... not on firmware upgrade (on N95 but did on N70) but it is possible to reset the lifetimer to zero... for sure.
So, techinically, yes.. it could be impossible to tell if its been repaired... depends on how wiley the seller is.
So, if it possible to reset the lifetimer, can you tell me how? It's very nice option 😊
Also here in my country, Macedonia, there is official Nokia resellers but they are very expensive, aprox. Nokia N95 costs 600 EURO, and there are many resellers of all mobile phones and there N95 costs 430-450 EURO. It's huge difference in the price 😊 So, I am in doubts from where to buy the phone 😊 I think that N95 is N95, but could I be sure? 😊

you use reset warranty with a jaf box.

JAF box site does not list compatibility with N95 just yet.
