N95, work abroad?

i'm going to America in a couple of days and am just wondering if my phone will work in the USA, i'm on Vodafone... any help?

cheers 😊

Yep, it is quad band so will basically work anywhere in the world. You may need to ring vodafone to check you have roaming enabled but I'm fairly sure they do it as standard now anyway (more chance of making money)

Hi pinksquink,

The N95 will definitely work in America, although it's worth giving Vodafone a quick call on 191 free of charge rom your phone to make sure roaming is enabled on your account.

The amount it costs to make calls in the USA will depend on which price plan you have, as well as if you have International Call Saver. You can find out your roaming call charges here.

If you're interested in adding International Call Saver if you don't have it already, just let the advisor know when you call 191 to check roaming is enabled and we'll look into it for you.

Hope this helps,

Oh look, I am quicker at getting the correct info than Vodafone. That's why I left them </bitterness>

:laugh::laugh: but nice to see a tidy Vodafone reply, with correct numbers to dial etc etc. 😉

Just come back from US. New York, Florida, Missouri, Kansas ... N95 on Vodafone.

Worked brilliantly everywhere.
