Is there a way to send messages using Nokia Nseries PC Suite

PCSuite/Contacts - choose update on the WinExplorer toolbar.
Once updated, right click desired recipient and 'send text' - or even double-clicking the contact opens a texting window.

As far as I can tell, there's no text messaging feature on Nseries PC Suite, much to my annoyance.

And, as If I wasn't annoyed enough already, they've even manage to stop it working properly on the 6.85 release of 'normal' PC Suite. I'm shaking my fist at you Nokia.

i thought i was the only one that had problems with it, its annoying cos i cant type for s**t on my phone lol

There's no direct link to it for some odd reason, but you can still open windows explorer and go into the phone explorer and send a text via that.

nope your not... it was front page new yesterday 😉

grantward , yes you can use PCSuite to send a text message... just done it myself.. Im using 6.85.12.0

OK OK but I was the first to mention it in this thread! Sorry, I don't often see the news - my bookmark is straight to the N95 forum. Maybe I should add a new bookmark.

HAAHA yes you should... I think most of us, myself up until recently included... only come in direct to the forum.. theres some good stuff out there in the news sections etc
