When they say US version, they probably mean it's a grey import with a US Country Variant Product Code. Its still got European 3G frequencies (WCDMA 2100) and not the US 3G frequencies.

So it would be pretty much identical to a UK SIM free N95 8GB (N95-2 RM-320) but I don't think Nokia Europe will honour warranty for US models; your only warranty would be one year with the retailer.
