N95-1 Phone Memory

My phone is reporting it has 117mb free and 31mb in use, I was under the impression the N95-1 only had 64mb?

You are looking at phone memory, not RAM. It has 64Mb of RAM.

Indeed, it is a little confusing but the 'classic' N95 has 64Mb RAM and 160Mb storage memory (plus whatever flash card).

Phone memory is used for things like messages, themes, installed programs and other user data - it's not the same thing as the RAM, which is used to run programs. Programs installed on the phone memory must be copied into RAM to run them (that's why the new v20 firmware has more available RAM, it doesn't copy whole programs into RAM - just as much as is needed).
