N95-1 v20 firmware for T-Mobile

Please forgive me if this question appears elsewhere on the forum.

I am the proud owner on a N95 on UK T-Mobile, currently with v12 firmware. I'd be a prouder owner if I had the v20 firmware that has been getting reviews.

As a newbie, I've gathered that T-Mobile tend to drag their heels when it comes to making new firmware available, so I was wondering if anyone had a head-up on when they may make it available? I've mailed T-Mobile directly to ask but so far heard nothing.

All responses gladly received!

you wait for t-mobile you could be waiting a while.

Just generic update it.. 😊

Ver 2.0 firmware update is essential to fully appreciate the capabilities of the N95 classic and debranding and updating to generic is the only way to get the benefits now!
A compelling reason to do it.
See my blog.

i'll second that - best update I've ever done.

the v20 firmware makes the N95 everything I was expecting it to be. It's a lot more stable now and seems that much more polished off that the previous firmwares.

I've never had a T-mobile firmware update and went generic as soon as I got the phone. do it, you won't regret it (unless you brick your n95, then you might be a tad miffed!)
