er, No. You'll have to wait for the free version to come out. (which shouldn't be too long now.)

Sorry, but by request of Samir we cannot give the beta out to non donators.
As mentioned, when the free one is released you can have it then 😃
can someone pls pm me samirs correct email address, i must have the wrong one. Ive donated several weeks ago, and emailed several times... but not recieved a thing... no response or beta...
ARghh!!
Beta 5 is out now. Just download it from Samir's site.
I'm just trying it on my phone now. I haven't noticed much difference except that there's a help page written now, and also an option to hide rotateMe from the tasks list. Guess it's so you can't close it accidently?
WAHOOOOOO. Cheers Samir! Now getting very excited for Nokmote.
All seems good with this beta5 though, will keep my eye peeled on it over the next few days!
You guys reckon it's a good add-on for 8GB users?
The 8GB already has the landscape view, although it's not auto like RotateMe.
Any comments?
I'm getting a certificate error during installation.
Anyone getting this as well?
i got no certificate error, mine installed fine!
As for whether it's worth it, yeah i'd say so. It rotates the screen automatically, so it has to be worth it!! The n95 doesn't ever rotate the screen automatically, it only does it when certain programs are run etc.
Give it a try and see what you think, you'll love it (if you ever get it installed 😃 )
Did you just install the sis the way you received it?
It says the certificate is unsigned. Do we need to get it signed to install?
yeah it has to be signed.

here is a step-by-step guide to signing your own apps. THe guide is for another app, but just change for your own program, here being RotateMe.
It seems hard at first, but it's not too bad when you get used to it
Not gone to the link you posted yet.
But gonna give it a try soon.
Let's see if I can get through this. :icon14:
Thanks for the help mate. 😊:icon14:
I'd just like to say how great this application is. The only thing that drew me towards the iphone was the rotating screen and now that i can have that on my nokia n95 8gb, i'm totally happy now! The signing process is a bit tedious but i got there in the end!
Thanks for your help everyone, I'm rotating like a champion.
A very cool app, bien fait monsieur Samir
How do I sign rotateme 😉
But seriously, beta 5 seems perfect. It is faster than 4 and what with help etc implemented really feels like a complete app.
Oi!! Watch it!! 😉
Beta 5 does seem pretty polished. He seems to go thru much more effort than a multinational paid product does!
OK, so I've been through the symbian signed bit and signed the app myself, but when I install it says unable to execute file for security reasons. I've searched here and googled it and I'm not getting anywhere. If anyone could point me in the right direction it'd be appreciated.
Thanks
OK, me being a muppet (and trying to install apps whilst under the influence of alcohol...). I'd forgotten that when I installed the accelerometer plugin, that was before re-flashing the firmware, so just needed to reinstall it.
i think i have a found a bug in beta 5
if you have the headset plugged in it tries to keep the screen in portrait mode, anyone else found this?
Casperuk wrote:it tries to keep the screen in portrait mode, anyone else found this?
Nope. I've been watching movies with Coreplayer in landscape mode with headphones on without any problem at all. It rotates nicely either way.
Does anyone else have a minor bug where the app shows on the task list (in handy taskman) even when hidden app is set. It hides when I first set it but if I reboot it comes back up and I have to unset, then reset hidden.
I have also tidied up Samir's good, but not quite perfect, English in the help file and emailed it to him. Just trying to help 😊
maybe it's my senitivity settings are either too high or too low.
i cant seem to turn the rotateme application on. Has something changed in the recent betas ? I can see it in the applications list but cannot "open" it.
thanks

anyone ... someone ?
ive worked it out dont worry ...bah.
Hi Guys,
Im having real trouble installing RotateMe on my N95 8GB, ive tried installing FExplorer and I cant due to certificate error, Im dying to try out 3rd party apps on my phone but I keep running into certificate problems, can anyone give me any advice or solutions. Thanks in advance to all who reply.
The reason why you are getting the cert error is because RotateMe is an unsigned app. You will need to sign it before you can successfully install it into your N95. All apps for S60 3rd Edition will need to be signed before you can install into your phone.
There are several threads that teach you how to sign an app.
