upgrade to US version?

hi all,

i currently own an n95-1 on v 20. and i am loving it even upto this day.
i live in canada and we now have the US version available here.

i could definitely use the 3g which i'm ok with to trade my lens shutter. this solves my hardware issues but which software is better?

i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the n95-1 is still better than the n95-3 or would it be worth the upgrade?

If the software on the US N95 isn't as good now, I would expect Nokia to release a firmware upgrade for the US version soon.

Even with the new V11 firmware (I wouldn't call it an upgrade), there is no noticeable difference.

The only real benefit I see the N95-3 having is more free ram (80+ mb) and a bigger battery, but with the N95-1's v20 firmware, it brings it up to par with the US version.

Another edge the N95-1 now has is the ability to truly maximize battery life, which I'm hoping they'd do for the US version as well.

I ordered my N95-3 a few weeks back and as soon as it was the shipped the v20 came out for my N95-1. I like the N95-1 more but since the update should eventually trickle down to the N95-3 I'm just going to hold out and wait for it. Bottom line, don't rush out for the N95-3 unless you *need* 3G...

hmm.. i guess i should wait a while and see what happens.
thanks guys! 😊
