Wlan Wizard Help

Hi

I bought my N95 back in July and my WLAN WIZARD worked perfectly until yesterday. I did nothing different, didnt drop it or change any settings, but for some reason my WLAN WIZARD has stopped working.

When i click on it, the screen comes up and it has my named network, i check the details and the signal is strong it says connected and everything looks as it should, so when i go to start browsing, the screen refreshes and just stays on the WLAN Wizard screen, basicly not letting me browse.
I dont get any error codes or messages.

Does anyone know whats going on, and how i can fix it??

many thanx in advance

wlan wizard .. select the access point you want to check on ..

instead of options / start web browsing .. try options / details ..

also options / edit access point .. just check a few things .. like open or keys or some such ..

there are a couple of other things that might be messing with it. one is which profile are you using. You might need to go into tools / settings / connection /access points .. select your access point and if you're feeling brave .. delete it and recreate it again ..

You might want to just start the web browser without the wlan wizard (most folks probably do it this way) .. and have it select the Access Point you wish to connect with.

Good Luck!😊

Hi Seki,

Thank you for your reply and advice. I managed to sort it out just by installing a software update, i had,nt done one before and only found out earlier that i needed to do one while reading through some of the other post's.

Thanks again 😊
