Hi

I have a problem with my Nokia N95 phone, whenever the battery runs down or i switch it off, once ive turned it back on it always says sim card registration failed, and i have to take out the sim and re-insert it.
Does anyone know why?? and is there a way to stop it??

many thanx
Dee

Hi,

I too have the same problem with my N95 and it happens only with T-mobile SIM but never with other sims

What I do is to either change the mode to offline as soon as i switch on the phone or restart it once again if it shows this message( no need to remove sim).

I am unsure about any other cure

Hi

Yes i forgot to mention that i have a T-Mobile sim. So my phone is not faulty then?? i will try out your tips, hopefully they will work for me. Its a pain to keep having to remove the Sim Card, i find i rarely turn my phone off or let the battery run down.

I also had that with my TMO SIM.
What solved it for me: upon restart, do not touch it (I mean press any buttons) until it has completely started. If i pressed buttons, it would show the 'Sim registration error'.

Does that also work for you?
