Hi, im trying to sign RotateMe 2.0 beta4.
Ive done all the stuff with SymbianSigned.com (got the certificate downloaded etc) and im at the stage of using SignSIS to create the signed file.
When I put all the necessary file paths in and click verify at the bottom on the output file it says:
"ERROR - Output File not found."
Of course its not found because im trying to create it :|
Or am I being stupid? (It's my first time signing an application).
PLEASE can you help me!!! :banghead:

hmm.. did you edit the .dat file? you have to open it with notepad and name the output file to what you please (usually rotateme_beta4_signed.sis). also, ensure that the source file is named correctly.
once you edit the dat file, click save (not save as) and when you run it this time, you get the signed rotate me in the same folder where the SIGNsis file is located. and you're all set to go from there 😊
I can't see a .dat file anywhere... =S
Am I missing a file or do I have to create the .dat file?

it should be with the signed file.. hmm.. i dont have the link with me here (at home, the link is in my computer at work) when you donated to samir and he sent u the beta4 via email, he would've sent you a link on how to sign sis files right? on that website, there would be a link to an archived link of files where there is a .key file, another sign file, and a xxx.dat file. that xxx.dat file will allow u to sign your rotateme file.
download that zip file, and give that a go, and follow the instructions from where you already have the dev cert, which should be quite easy. i'll try to help as much as i can, just post a message here. heheh being drunk on a friday night (in australia) does have its shortcomings when it comes to communicating to people in europe 😊
give us a buzz and let is know how you go 😊
The file I have to edit when I'm signing programs is autosignsys.bat or something similar.
Open / edit files? All I do is use Quicksign; drag the unsigned app onto an open window and Bob's your uncle, there is a signed app.
Where can I get Quicksign from? Id appreciate it if you could give me a link please!!! 😞
