N95 malfunctions when connecting to Pc

I recently updated my N95 firmware to V 12.0.013. The phone works fine but won't connect to a pc.

When I plug the usb cable into the phone I get the following message displaying from the system tray

"USB Device Not Recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer and windows does not recognize it."

As a result I can't use any PC suite functions or transfer files etc. Any ideas?

Do you have any other cables you can try with it??

try removing your phone from device manager, restarting and installing to a diff. usb port?

I used to gt same error not only on phone but with other items connecting to usb then I found drive clean up ran it and had no problems since

" DriveCleanup
For testing 'first time drive arrivals' I've made DriveCleanup. It removes currently non present storage volumes, USB drives and their USB storage devices.
For every single USB drive Windows creates a storage volume, a drive device and an USB device in its device tree. There are reports that Windows has problems when it goes into the hundreds. Admin previleges are required. "

worked for me
