For Sale a SOLID N95 + Brodit active mount + 2gb + more UK

Hi guys,

Apologies to mods if I'm not allowed to post for sale here.

I have to sell my N95 (and my XDA Exec) to free up some cash. Here is the spec:

N95 had light use for about 4 months, still in warranty, NO slider/case issues this is one of the rare 'solid' ones. No crashing problems or behaviour out of the ordinary.

Brodit clip ACTIVE charger/car mount with suction/windscreen stalk (this cost me about £50 alone). It's the best mount you can get, not a rubbish one that squeeses the sides this is designed ground up for the N95 and it slides into it.

2gb Micro SD card for additional storage, albums etc.

Bought on T-mobile contract (I'm the original owner had it from new and can obtain the unlocking code from T-mobile if required at cost, they say £15). However the unit has been de-branded and updated to the very latest unbranded firmware so it has IM on it which T-mobile disable/add other rubbish. Silver with stock Blue theme now and aside from the T-mobile written on the back cover totally unbranded. Works GREAT with the web & walk and use it to power a laptop. Has the latest update to the camera, works very well.

Loaded with videos, couple of Stones albums, sat navs (see below) and still room for lots of photos.

SatNav - loaded with TomTom 6 (external bluetooth receiver required, not in sale but available for £20 on ebay new) with full UK maps and speed camera database. Also loaded with AmAzE SatNav which is free and WORKS ON THE INTERNAL GPS so where ever you are, you have sat nav. Requires a data enabled contract (eg Webnwalk from T-mobile, not a PAYG sim) as it downloads the bits of the map it needs as you go.

Boxed as new with stereo headset/manual/charger etc. Good battery well conditioned from new so lasts out 2 days with average use.

Virtually unmarked, just inspected it carefully and I'm going to need a magnifying glass to pick up any imperfections. One slight mark on back cover up top by camera cover not broken the paint and only 2/3mm long. Not worth talking about. In short I'd say it's in the condition of a week old N95, only considerably upgraded, well loaded with software, backup cd provided, and got the all important bespoke car active charger/holder.

I'm looking for £250 delivered in the UK and can list on ebay (I will do when I get a minute). Photos can be supplied, currently my only camera is the N95 which means I can't phtograph it till I borrow my sisters camera!

Best of all, it's still got a good guarantee left till 28/04/2008 and sent insured recorded delivery so you are well insured against any problems (I haven't had any though) other than you throwing it down the toilet (you can get insurance for that too...).

Email me at gregATgregandsarahDOTcoDOTuk (sorry about the anti-spam measures but you can work out the email address easily) if interested.

Regards, Greg.

May I add I have proof of purchase and it has NEVER been reported stolen or had the IMEI reported/blocked/registered so it's 100% safe and legit.

I don't know about the rules relating to selling here but I would mention that it is probably not the best place, since most visitors come here becasue they already have an N95

officially there is no 'phones for sale' forum... so for now, as this isnt major company spam it can stay here I guess, but as 3shirts has said everyone that comes here has an N95... so maybe if you have a look thru the forum and you want it moving somewhere then let me know.

I dont think it needs to stay here very long tho.. so sort out the ebay ad and then do an edit and single link to it.
I'd also add that if its on t-mobile and only 4 months old, it may still 'legally' be owned by t-mobile...

How much is that in US dollars and shipped to Texas? lmk

thanks

There is no such a thing. You can do whatever you want with your headset, burn it, sell it probably even eat it😉
You are paying for it through your line rental.

its dependant on contract from memory....... but happy to be proved wrong.

Hmmm.......this is interesting. I read the thread title and I must say, I never knew that they had a different states for the N95. The title says that its a SOLID N95. lol. are there liquid and gaseous versions too. (Going crazy cuz we got chemistry in science nowadays)

LOL funny!
I was more referring to the wobbly slide and various software issues some have!

Agreed. I contacted T-mobile and all they seem to be interested in is that I keep paying my contract, which if I don't they chase with debt collectors. These subsidised phones are thrown at you at the start of contract and T-mobile can't do anything useful with a 2nd hand phone, they only supply new phones so have absolutely NO interest in reducing what you owe them on contract in return for sending them a 2nd hand phone!!!

The deal is, I get a phone and network access, they get 's a month. The 's a month is all they are interested in.

I even tried to cancel my contract once, no can do, they are not interested in the phone or you cancelling, all they want is the 's per month you signed up for (naturally, it's a business).

Anyhow long shot of this is there is no problem with people selling their phones in the UK.

Hi, I am sure you know that the is strong against the $ right now so I can't see it being economic, it makes it roughly 500$ and I'm guessing 20 - 40$ for shipping.

😮
