Hey guys,
I'm new to symbian and I have a little question about the product. I changed my product code from 0549001(australia sand) to 0534841 (Euro 1 sand). I live in the U.S and I use T-mobile. If I want to revert back to my original product will it be safe to even though I updated to v. 20?
Also, I'm very very anal retentive about keeping my files organized. Are there ways to make the n95 faster? Lastly, can i do everything I have to with the phone (transfer files and apps) without having to use the PC Suite (I think that the program is crap since it doesn't work as it should half the time)?
Thanks for your considering my answers guys! Please excuse my noob questions. lol
yes you can change your product code back, what do you mean by making the N95 faster in respect of organising ( 😉 ) your files, and yes you can transfer them without PC Suite - use the USB mode, or for even faster transfer, simply plug your memory card in to a reader and then into your PC and tranfer them directly. Copying across the .sis file and launch it from your phone.
Thanks for the reply! If i change back my product code will i have to downgrade? Will i be able to at all? What i meant by keeping it organised is by reducing the number the number of folders there are in the memory card. Instead of making all those folders for different data, can i just make one folder for all applications or for music (instead of having 2 sub folders within the music folder)? Again, thank you so much for answering my questions! 😊

No, you can change your product code back without downgrading, and no you will not be able to downgrade at all.

The system created folders have to remain where they were created. You can't go changing system created hierarchy.
