Outlook - Virus Warning on Sync

This may be a more Microsoft Outlook 2000 question than a P800 question. I'm running Outlook 2000 SP3 and everytime the P800 tries to synch I get a pop-up window on Outlook "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses, you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?...." And it lets me allow access for up to 10 mins but not permanantly. It's very annoying as I cannot have the phone automatically sync on connect without waiting for the pop up and clicking ok. (It times out otherwise).

Does anyone know of a way to overcome this?

Thanks in advance.
It is same with every sync app I have worked with, on Nokias, Ericssons...
Except for the Palm I guess. I have been using the Palm m505 (until I got the P800) and synchronization with outlook never had that prompt.

The other thing I've noticed about the P800 synch is that it's incredibly slow compared to the Palm. I'm hoping newer versions of the synch software address this. As a very heavy PDA user I rely on being able to synch with my laptop and desktop several times a day and this is my biggest gripe with the phone so far.

The new version 1.1.1 of the synch software is working on my laptop running Win2K but I have not managed to get it working on my XP desktop yet. Resource usage for outlook shoots up when I try to synch on XP and then it comes up with an error message. Haven't had time to try re-installs etc yet.

On the other hand SE have done a wonderful job on the phone itself and the PDA functions in particular, just hope they address the desktop piece.

Today for the first time I actually left my Palm behind when I came into office and put my life completely in the P800's hands... 😊
