I changed my product code from 0549001 (Australia Sand) to the Euro1 (Sand). Then I upgraded to v20. Will it be safe to revert back to my old product code since the two versions are different? Also, if i was forced to downgrade, will I be able to safely? In fact, is there a way to downgrade to v12 again safely and revert back to my old product code?

It's not possible to downgrade to an earlier version of the firmware, Nokia Software Update won't let you. You can change your product code back if you like, it has no consequences other than determining which updates you're offered.

If I switch back to my other product code and v20 comes for that product code can i update to that version?
