Contacts missing after I had to format, HELP!

Hi,

Im new to this forum, at least as a poster. I have spent several days searching through the shared knowledge on here and have found it really helpful!

However, I have now come to a point where I cannot find a solution to my problem.

Yesterday morning i tried to turn my 3230 on and it wouldnt boot. It always got stuck at the "Nokia" screen and seemed to try over and over again. After reading up on it here, I decided that what I needed to do was a format, which I did (hold "*" + "3" + "green phone dealy" while turning on the phone).

Well, the phone works again now... However, all of my contacts are gone! I thought they were supposed to be on my rs-mmc card (others/contacts), they are not there. I pulled out the card right after the formatting started, cause it came to me...

Still, all of my contacts are gone. No, I did not back them up recently, I know it's dumb. My hard drive crashed a few months ago.

Any ideas, guys?

I've tried a few data rescue/recovery apps on the card, but couldnt find anything like a vcf file.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm really frustrated by now! Thank you!
