I changed the firmware to V2o yesterday after changing the product code and it went like a dream.
Today I was doing the restore using Nokia PC suite and that process is stuck at 61% AND NOT MOVING FORWARD for 1 hour.:con?
I cancelled the transfer and attempted restore again..
Still the same thing.
The phone apparently works ok..
How do I retrieve the earlier contacts which I had backed up using PC suite..??
pls help at you earliest convenience..

This is kind of normal behavior if you have loads of stuff from the old firmware. Just have to wait it out. Be careful not to check the 'settings' box for the restore - it'll mess up your shiny new menu structure and may make things run a little less than smooth. 😊

BTW When I was doing my restore I did not get any settings option..

Make sure you are using the latest version of PC suite.
For future update reference (or if you do a hard reset before for any reason) only sync your contacts and build your platform from scratch when starting with a 'vanilla' phone.
The end result is worth it!
