Nokia already PSP-style N-Gage handset?

I like the way in that the side handles, which other better grip, fold away to keep the device compact.

That looks like a concept device Nokia showed off about two years ago, when the original N-Gage QD was still going.

Since then Nokia have flatly said they have absolutely no plans for a dedicated gaming phone.

Even if one existed, there's no reason to think that it would be a success. Gaming-oriented devices sell in very small numbers, maybe 30 to 50 million a year including home consoles. That's about the same as the number of phones sold in just one month. Despite the media hype, console sales are (and always have been) pretty small. The only reason they have huge revenues is because the games cost so much (current gen console titles cost about $50 to $100 per game, depending on where you buy them in the world).

The point of a phone gaming platform is to put games on devices that literally hundreds of millions of people use, and you can't do that if you have a gaming-oriented device because not very many people want one.
