A sad day for N-Gage I wonder how hard can it be for the folks, at n-gage so rid it self of this dark cloud that follows them
Or maybe the President of N-Gage needs to rid the company of these useless Programmers
a public beta test for n-gage? im sorry but ive never heard of anything so silly or childish. get real people - if you wanna compare the n-gage to xbox live - then compare it to the very smallest bits. xbox was released just right and n-gage should do the same. it should not be released as a beta, who has ever heard of a beta gaming platform?!
dont really care about n-gage delays, but when can we get that fishing game! creatures of the deep?
I really appreciate your take on this. I was one of the people who was really put off by yet another delay for the next gen of N-gage and vented my frustation on the sites blog spot. But they way you put it, I think your perspective is a more objective way of looking at what the Next Gen of N-gage is supposed to be about , and maybe we as fans of the brand have tried to push it into a hole it necissarily isn't designed to fit. It's not a console, It's focus is not specifically on a piece of hardware, and these phones that it is compatible with, its not entirely the reason why we are buying the phone, like if you were buying a Ps3 or a Xbox 360, because it's a game machine. Even withing the phones that are N-gage compatible, there are differences that will make a consumer decide on one phone vs. another, but what phone fits their desires more. It's a smartphone first, everything else is a feature, and different features benefit different users. We are all gamers, so gaming is a benefit to us, and because they all offer this benefit, they can appeal to us. But one feature doesn't drive a product. It's like if you by a car, all cars have 4 wheels and can drive, some cars have cd players, some have mp3 players, ect, all these features. Which can be a feature that appeals to you and may sell you on a particular car, but its not the prime reason your buying it. You buy a car to be able to get from point A to point B. All the other stuff is just things that can make your experience more enjoyable. So we should just appreciate what we have in these new innovative smartphones, and when N-gage is finally launched, thats just another cool feature we will have to use with them.
I think most fans of N-gage are just afraid they are gonna get burned a second time around, because they want games that rival what their home consoles can do and with the same kind of selection, and they worry about what the future might hold if Nokia can't even get the platform to launch when they say it will.
