How large can the phone handle PDF??

I was wondering if this particular phone is able to handle and open PDF files of approximately 80MB in size? I tried searching on the net but could not find any answers. Anyone here uses the phone to read large PDF files? I have a N91 4GB version and i get a memory full error when opening such files even though i am supposed to be having 4GB of memory.

Also can the N95 8GB do internet connection sharing via BT or cable to a lappy?

i have a 45mb 20 page pdf doc that I had to make at work, contains about two images on each page, and was created in MS Word..

Fails to load.. out of memory..

It would be extremely usefull if i could open this file!! Argh

😮 Darn i was worried about that. My PDA Phone is able to handle files of up to 100MB and it opens in PDF without any problems. If i cannot even handle a 20MB PDF file....how can it be a smartphone? Hmmm was really looking forward to getting this phone for my work...😮

There's a 14mb PDF of a sick joke book that doesn't work on my N95-1. Gets the out of memory error. Haven't tried since I upgraded to v20 though.

If anyone wants to try, the link is www.sickjokebook.com

You are confusing storage memory with operating memory (ram) It doesn't matter how much storage memory you have, what causes the out of memory error is the lack of ram memory on the N91.

Also version 2.5 of adobe reader available from quickoffice does handle large pdf files much better.

i tried that and it downloaded. I tried to save it on my n95 8gb mass memory then open it with the in built pdf reader but even with the 128mb ram it failed saying not enough memory. Then i couldnt find the download and i new my phone memory had gone below the 100mb for the first time. Had to use y browser to find it and delete it from temp files folder!

I think it might be something to do with the mobile pdf reader than the RAM on my phone though

Could very well be. Did anyone pay to download Adobe's newer PDF reader at all? Did that make a difference?

it should be free!!!

How about PDF+ ? Is anyone here using this software at all? If the phone is 128MB of memory then it should not be an issue opening up such PDF files right? Really hope its a application limitation not a phone limitation.

Both PDF and PDF+ failed to load a couple mb PDF file I had. For one reason or another, the phone and the applications just can't handly bigger PDF files.

probably the software not the phone...

pdf+ opens a 58mb file fine for me now!!

I downloaded the file mentioned above on my N95-1 (FW 20.0.015) it opens without problems in Adobe PDF-reader 2.5 (yes, I paid to upgrade) and I still have about 14-15MB free RAM
