Hello, i'm a newbie to this wonderful place, i just got a E90 on Vofafone, but would like to unlock it. I have already de-branded the firmware with the latest edition, but still the problem with it being locked?!
any solutions?

To unlock your handset to work with other networks you would need the Network Unlocking Code (NUC) from Vodafone.
As your handset is less than 12 months old, a charge of just £19.99 including VAT would apply. Once the handset is 12 months old we can provide the code for free. All you need is an active Vodafone Contract or Pay As You Talk account.
To request the code, first of all get your handset's IMEI by typing *#06# on your handset, then call Vodafone on 191 and we'll arrange this for you. If you'd prefer to arrange this over the internet you can contact us using the Vodafone Online Contact Form.

Hi all,
Just dial 191 from your handset and as long as you are not a new VodaFone customer they will sell you the unlock code for �20 although it can take up to 28 days. I just got the unlock code for my N95 8GB and it was immediate i received an E-mail with the unlock code in minutes you will need to give them your devices IMEI number.

if you email [email][email protected][/email] with your IMEI, network provider and phone number they will provide an unlock code within 24 hours. In the case of the E90 the charge is �25
They unlocked my E90 from Vodafone yesterday - it took 25 minutes for my code to arrive and I'm now using it on T-Mobile.
They also unlocked my N95 8gb for �30.
