What you on about??? Why is it designed to be signed by hackers only??
There are a variety of idiot guides around on the net... and many of the posts here have links to them... search it.

Sorry to make my self clearer, I thought I had a reasnoble amount of knowledge on computing and phones.
If self signing is meant to be user friendly... it is easer to get some Pirate software than to self sign.
I read this site to keep upto date with software develoments. I do not wish to waste hours instaling software on my phone..

Do you know how dodgy it is to give your IMEI number out over the internet?
I have a different problem, I signed my rotateme through symbiansigned.com, but when I try and install I get an error (constraint by certificate). any advice?? anybody else with the same annoying problem??
Thanks zxon for the file but while installing the file it gave a "constraint by certificate" error... how do i proceed???
Thanks again...

Neither of the files have your name on it so why did you download them?
Seriously, the reason why you're getting this error is because the app you're trying to install has been signed to a phone with a different IMEI to your own.
Giving out your IMEI on an internet forum is no big deal. Your phone isn't suddenly going to stop working because someone else is using it in their stolen handset. You can't just randomly get IMEI's blocked either, at minimum it takes proof of purchase, more frequently images of the box and identification stickers, as well as a recent police report.
If you want to be a little worried, think about this. I can pull up to almost any cell site with bog standard off the shelf equipment and suck down tens of thousands of IMEI's, IMSI's, text messages, phone conversations, plus a whole lot more. It's as simple as having a Parabolic dish, a spectrum analyzer, down converter, modem, a digital capture card, and a computer less than about 5 or 10 years old. Programming skills sold separately.
Encryption exists between your handset and the cell site, it does not usually exist anywhere else in the chain. CCITT 7 is easy, GSM vocoders are simplistic, stripping out packets on modern hardware, all of this can be done in practically real time.
What is significantly more challenging is the signaling system, it is out of band, sometimes not even in the same transmission. While it is (sometimes) fairly straight forward to know who is calling who, it is quite a task to find the specific voice slots associated with that information. A few extra million dollars are required to have a holistic solution.

Hey I'm struggling to sign my rotateme aswell..
It seems SymbianSigned have made it harder to do so... Every time i try i get this message..
"Request DevCert
Your request has failed. Reason:
-Developer Certificates will be ENABLED for users who have a Publisher ID ONLY
-ONLY if you used a Publisher ID to create a .csr file with the DevCertCreate tool will you be able to use Open Signed Offline to create a Developer Certificate.
-Developer Certificates are currently DISABLED for users without a Publisher ID. Users who DO NOT have a Publisher ID CANNOT request Developer Certificates or use Open Signed Offline.
-If you have recently obtained a Publisher ID and are unable to create a Developer Certificate using Open Signed Offline please request support through the Symbian Signed forum on the Symbian Developer Network here"
So can someone please sign rotate me for me... Thank you in advance...
My IMEI is: 359542012755615
People can no longer sign anything for other people, that method has stopped now.
