yeh i had that prob wen i was @ my gf house! hoping it's just the dsn servers beingn slow in being updated! as the sites on the .com so no images will load if it cant access the .com site 🙄

loaded no worries but that gradient blue background on green and black looks naff IMHO... why didnt you just go white text on black background??

Again... just my opinion mate 😉

Looks quite good I think, but with all those boxes on the left/right sides it looks awfully cluttered.

hanged layout a little, and added a product suggestion box! gd ideea or not?:con?

thanx

Works fine, but I think the photos would be better taken in daylight as the flash gives a very strong glare and uneven tone.

yeh i was thinking that 2!! gona get a hold of a decent camera and get proper foto's off all the products.. i know sum1 with a gd camera that ows me a favour so i'll get a hold of them!

thanx😊

Looking good. I think the way images pop open into a new window is good. I always liked that on websites!

I agree about flash on the pictures though, perhaps also try get a background for them too, so it's not too obvious they're taken in your house etc. Will help them look more professional. Even if it's just a big piece of cardboard, to give a uniform colour!

Gonna do any of these for the N95 8gb?? I might be interested, would have to see pics first 😃

pm me if ur intrested😉

Bit of a late reply, hectic christmas (including going to A and E a few times).

First thing i think you need is a disclaimer. Taking covers off isnt easy, especially for some nokias (my 6233 was just evil), and people may well damage them. So maybe it shows at part of the checkout process?

So a disclaimer would be good. Also, it wouldnt hurt to have guides or links to guides on how to take a cover/case off a particular phone model (looks like your doing that anyways).

And rather obviously, a link to every phone model with pictures you have done. The more people see, the more people will want to buy 😉

Make it clear its all about choice, i.e. you can do the keypads, leave them, etc etc. That way people are more likely to get a unique phone.

Tbh it looks like you have things covered. Such as a watermark on the pictures, very good idea.

Would be very wise to make clear that the paint job is pro. Meaning its not a crappy case thats going to scratch/wear off after a few weeks. Perhaps a page on why people should choose you. Rather than some cheapo guy. And explain the process, would help assure people its worth the money they are paying.

And definatly include that shot of the fake case with the others, thats all melted!

Personally, Id love to see a N82 case done up. lots of people are saying its ugly (me included). Perhaps that would be a very good seller....

Dya mean a disclaimer that states that changing fascias on mobile phones can be difficult and that he and/or the site will not be held responsible for damage caused to a phone whilst attempting to remove it's case?

all good ideas, guys!! thanx!, have been working on guides, but the disclaimer bit i havent looked into yet!! i willl get on 2 it though!!

u get ur case yet "bartmanekul"??

hope ur wee trip 2 the A&E wasent anything 2 bad!!

god u should be a business advisor "bartmanekul"😊:icon14:

thanx, steven😉

Think Id worry too much, besides, you seem to be doing a good enough job yourself. Especially impressed by the watermarks on the pictures. Easily nickable otherwise, if someone else decided to do the same thing.

No case yet, ruddy royal mail.

A and E trip wasnt anything serious, was just a precaution for a family member.

Looking forward to pictures of some heat reactive paint if you do any cases with it.

Tis a shame people cant somehow see the cases in person.

Hey! Congrats on the site and the hopefully blossoming business.
I have to agree with Bartmanekul about the disclaimer - that's a definitely great idea.

Also, I realise that the site is a work in progress but you may want to adjust your meta tags a little bit for SEO purposes. When I looked at them the word 'fon' was used a lot - but I couldn't see a single instance of the word 'phone' - which is the search term I would use when looking for something like this. It's not going to affect google searches too much, but some of the search engines still use them. A few keywords likes 'mobile phone, mobile, cell phone', etc etc and a concise description meta tag would help your rankings. Also changing your page title to something like "pimpmyfon.com - professional paint jobs for mobile phones" (you can probably come up with better than that!!) would also help in the search engine stakes.

I wish you every luck with your venture.

Hey, have a look at http://www.colorwarepc.com, they do custom painting on lots of devices, but i dont think they do two-tone paint!

Im sure you can take some ideas from there business to help yours grow

My only criticism would be the price, I think it's a little too high. Here in Asia I can get full color pictures of anything I want printed on for much the same amount. It's also a very thin finish - I think it's some kind of laminate that they shrink or stick on to the phone, either way it's quite good with no gaps, and doesn't come off without some serious and very intentional effort.

yeh i know wot u mean that heat shrink laminate stuff!!.. well it's good 2 know that my prices are somewot competitive with that! however i would not consider that a competitior!

i am going to be offering flippaint(colour changing), glow in the dark and heat reactive fascias, and maybe chrome if ther is a demand! and maybe customising your fon coer to the same colour as your car! (thats what i did for years)..

also try buying an original fascia from nokia!! more than wot i charge for it painted!!

thanx for the feedback!! i totaly 4got about the heatshink lamnate, could maybe be an option for me in the future!!😊

thanx , steven:icon14:

A flip-paint PC? Awesome!!! 😮

If you ever have the laminate stuff, I'll be first in line to buy from you 😊 Though the reflective and different color paint is cool too! Looking forward to see what you have in your product range, I'm patient so I'll check back regularly for new items.
