I'm going to be getting an n95 8gb soon. If I got a n95 8gb locked to vodafone, would it work with a pay as you go virgin sim if I unlocked the mobile or would there be some problems because the mobile is exclusive to vodafone?
Is anyone using the n95 8gb with another pay as you sim without any problems?
I'm going to be buying from e-bay first time so any tips. I think I've found a good seller, what do you think, does this seller look good?

If you were to buy a Nokia N95 8GB it would be locked to the Vodafone network. Once unlocked you would be able to use any other network SIM in the phone.
Vodafone will be able to unlock the phone without invalidating the warranty but there would be a charge of �19.99 (inc VAT.) We only supply unlock codes free of charge when the handset is over 12months old.
To get the phone unlocked by Vodafone you would need to have an account with us, either contract or Pay As You Go, you would then simply need to call our customer services on 08700 700 191 or 191 from a Vodafone number.
We would need to take the make/model of the phone and the IMEI number (which can be found in the battery compartment of the phone or by entering *#06# into the handset.) If we hold the unlock code on the system we can supply it straight away, if not it may take up-to 72hours.
