Hi folks,
I am developing a CUPs proxy(BPP server) for BPP, making possible forward jobs from a cellphone to a network printer. The server(proxy) implementation is almost done, it is already able to handle the job creation request and retrieve referenced objects(XHTML). However, after retrieve the images I don't know how to disconnect properly and notify that the job has finished. The session disconnection in the BPP spec is unclear for me.
I tried two tests:
1. Disconnect the job channel and the object channel
Result: after x seconds my N95 reports error -50.
2. Disconnect the object channel only
Result: after x seconds my N95 connected to my proxy(server) in the status channel sending a GetJobAttributes request. GetJobAttributes response was sent properly with JobState "completed" but instead of disconnect after receive the reply, it stays in loop sending GetJobAttributes request.
What is the right way to address this situation?
Printing from N95 to a HP7180 printer works fine, but I don't have a protocol sniffer!
Regards,
Claudio.
