questions about Z8's minor built-in functions:

Hello guys.

I'm looking for some information that is too detailed for reviews to cover, so could you guys please help me out:

I'm looking to replace my SE P990i with a Z8, after hearing the Z8 has both profiles and black list. These are the 2 most important functions to me, and the P990i lacks both.

So my questions are:

1) Can black lists (called kill filter on the Z8 I believe) be combined with profiles, so that different profiles has different black list settings?

2) For the black list, how fast is the response for dropping calls? It is dropped completely before the phone even lights up? Or does it wait until it is about to ring to drop?

3) Can the black list also be used to control text messages?

4) How big are the caller-ID photos?

5) I heard that you can only assign 1 short-cut to the right navi key, all other keys can not be assigned anything else. is that true?

6) How does Z8 handle files or music tracks in foreign languages? (for example, Chinese or Japanese). Do they show up as some crazy code? Or are they fine?

I'm really looking forward to this great phone, so please let me know about those crucial features. Thanks alot!

They're rather small :/
When someone calls, info about this is 1/5 of the screen and the photo is 1/5 of this bar...

Yep.

The only one I can answer for definite is that blacklists can't be combined with profiles.

The Z8 media manager isn't the best or speediest in the world, but I suspect the answer to your question would be "it depends on what language packs your phone comes pre-installed with"
