does any1 know if tmobile uk have started shinking images that can be downloaded?

not that I can see... and why would they... they get more cash from people downloading more data... bigger image, more data. 😊

There was a post either yesterday or the day before about this very thing. I believe the answer is yes, t-mobile are resizing images. I think there is an alternate access point that you can create which doesn't suffer this problem though.
Complain long and loud to T-Mobile, this is corporate greed at its finest.

They do it because they can pack many more users in to the same trunks without having to expand the system. It is free money! Data is already dirt cheap, if you knew how much it really cost the telco's to provide the service, you would be a tad miffed. More users equate to more monthly income, far more than if you only allowed a few people to download a few gigabytes every month.
Hmmm, yeah. maybe... the quicker a data limit is reached tho, the more costs they are charging... wouldnt have thought one was a better method over the other by much? But then I dont work in telco. 😉

Anyone worked out how to get around this yet ive just upgraded to Web n Walk max but if the iages look anythign like they do now then I will cancel it.
