I have a friend of mine who saw my N95 8Gb and was astonished by it, but then he pulled out a Verizon phone- regular nothing special and showed me the greatest feature ever, he told me to play any song on my n95 music player and i played Blood is pumping-voodoo and serano, he put his phone close to mine and within 30 seconds his phone showed the song name, artist, album, record label AND offered him an option to buy it and download it to his phone.........😮 How many times have you heard a song that stuck in your head and it kills you that you cant get it because you dont know what its called or he does it.
AND FOR GOD'S SAKE IT IS A VERIZON PHONE - CRUMMY CDMA.
I want my N95 to do that.
There is a very cool feature on this forum called SEARCH...
If one would put MUSIC RECOGNITION in it , then most probably one would find an application called SHAZAM which works great recognizing the music.😉

It must have been a Sony Ericsson. They all have the Track ID function allowing to recognize tracks.
P.S. This is not JUST a Verizon phone, this is a SONY_ERICSSON.

I heard of this very cool feature and I tried searching music recognition but it shows nothing, please try it and only my post pops up. But anyway thank you again for Shazam, I will give it a try.
The very cool search feature actually shows 25 results for music recognition, not zero, not one, but twenty five. Are you sure you are searching on this forum? 😊

I did click "search this forum" and it only comes up with the thread that I started" I apologise if I were re-asking a question but I honestly did search, i should of used different terms but my head could come up with any and the term "track ID" was totaly out of my head. Anyway I have Shazam installed and I love it, thank you rottie
