ok this has bugd me since the first day i got my n95, wen u recive a text it only tells you wen u recived it and not wen it was sent!! everyother mobile iv had tells u in the message details or propertys wen the txt was sent but the n95 onlty tells you wen it was recived by u!

i live in a area wen i regulaly lose my signal and if u knew wen a txt was sent it would make all the diffferance!!

so any1 else been annoyed by this or any1 know any way round it???

I must admit I'm a little annoyed at this too. My old 9110i Communicator told me when a text was sent by the sender and when it was received by me, which was really useful.

What f/w revision do you have? I found this was the case with V11, but V12 show sent rather than received in the details (haven't received one with the phone off for V20 to see if the old bug is back, but I would presume it is not).

In the interests of testing, I've just sent a message to my switched off N95 at 3:27pm (according to my synchronized phone clocks)

(Imagine time passing)

At 3:35 I switched my N95 back on, received the message shortly thereafter and checked the details.

Sadly V20 shows only the time of receipt as 3:36pm, and not the time the message was sent.

Yeah, this is weird, particularly since this is the only Nokia i've ever had (out of 7) that does it this way! If you regularly turn off your phone at night of while at work this is a major pain cos the message may no longer be relevant but you've no way of knowing.
