Now that the likes of ITV are publishing their channels for free over the web (I believe BBC are planning something similar but not looked for a long time) is their any way of viewing them on my N95?

It its the case, why not point the N95 browser to that site and test!

the bbc already does allow you to view last 7 days online, haven't tried with phone though

Doesn't work. The websites require a browser with Flash Player.

why doens't flash lite 3 update the phone to use it on websites, and when will there be an update for flash 😞

There's a WMV9 stream (if you click detach player, then check the properties, you can get the URL). Not sure if it will work with any players (does CorePlayer support WMV9 on Symbian?). I imagine it will be under some sort of DRM too, but not sure.

Has anyone tried with the new n95 8GB firmware? Has support for flash 3

If you send me the URL you are looking at I can give it a go.

*Scrap that, can browse ITV.com with no probs on new firmware, and it doesn't complain about flash. But still can't view videos. Looks like it uses WMV9 so need windows mobile player or something to stream, and spoof the website that you have windows media plugin for the browser... so not much chance really.

so if that isn't going to work is there any other sources of viewing the mainstream uk freeview channels on an n95.
