Writting Dictionaries

I've been exploring the phone and find out that in Z:\System\T9Ldb\
are stored the files needed by the phone to run T9Dicctionaries correctly.
By default these are the files that come with the 7650:

english.rsc
french.rsc
spanish.rsc
t9english.dll
t9french.dll
t9spanish.dll

My question is, where can I find german and catalan support? If I'd copy german.rsc and t9german.dll would the phone by ready to support german ?

Once I owned a Psion Series 5 and the trick to add files to ROM or "overwrite" files in ROM was to copy them to the same directory on your C: disk. So copying these german files to your C: disk might work... If so I like to have spanish and french.

One other thing: is it legal to exchange these files?

I've copied the files in C:\System\T9Ldb\ but it doesn't work.I'll keep investigating.I remenber I saw a language.ini somewhere in the phone...
:-?

I've found something new.
File:
C:\System\Data\T9UDB0f.DAT
I can't open it with phone's notepad aplication, if someone can upload it or send it to me by mail I'd apreciate it.

I think it may be custom words database or something, I wanna make sure... 8)

Its just the database for your own words in t9
You can look for it in the backup (if you have made it) 😃
